The purpose of this program is to
provide educational and enjoyable
practice in the perioperative use of
inotropic drugs and associated
pharmacologic agents.

Three case studies are available, each
with several parts.  For each, you may
choose to play one of three "roles"...

STUDENT role:  You will simply observe
while an expert instructor treats the
patient and explains his rationale.

PHYSICIAN role:  You will be managing
all treatment of the patient. Upon com-
pletion of the case, the expert will
provide a critique of your management.

RESEARCHER role:  Identical twin
patients arrive.  You will be ordering
treatment for each.  Compare alternate
therapeutic approaches.  Afterward,
individual critiques are provided.
